Important Update from Solidus AI Tech

AI Summary

This article is a crucial transparency report from Solidus AI Tech, detailing significant structural changes and strategic decisions that will shape the project's future. It is essential reading for the community as it openly addresses the departure of a co-founder and his team, explains resulting development delays, and clarifies the complex status of a key data center. The update provides a candid look at the challenges of aligning Web3 ambitions with traditional business operations and hardware procurement.

We would like to share several important developments regarding the structure and ongoing direction of the Solidus AI Tech ecosystem. This update is intended to provide clear context to our community and ensure full transparency around recent changes within the company.

Transparency has always been a foundational principle of blockchain and Web3. As a result, we believe it is important to communicate openly with our community not only during periods of strong momentum, but also during moments that require structural adjustments and strategic decisions.

Business environments evolve, and not every update will always be purely positive. However, maintaining open communication strengthens long-term trust and ensures that our community understands both the challenges encountered and the path forward.

Team Structure Changes

We would like to inform the community that our Co-Founder, Adrian Stoica, and the Romanian team have stepped down from their roles within Solidus AI Tech.

Adrian and his team are heavily engaged in two separate companies, Optoelectronica and Soft Galaxy, both owned and operated by Adrian Stoica. Since the launch of the AITECH ecosystem, these businesses have expanded considerably and are currently involved in multiple large-scale contracts with strict operational deadlines.

Due to these commitments, it has become increasingly difficult for Adrian and his team to allocate the level of time and focus required for Solidus AI Tech.

Additionally, in fast-moving industries such as AI and Web3, execution speed is critical. Certain technology components and systems originally expected to be delivered under Adrian’s oversight were not completed within timelines that aligned with the pace of the market.

Furthermore, given the nature of the contracts undertaken by Adrian’s companies, public association with a Web3 project introduces additional sensitivities. The volatility and speculative nature of the broader crypto industry can present complications for organizations operating in traditional sectors with governmental & enterprise level clients.

After careful discussion, both parties have mutually agreed that it is in the best interest of all involved to move forward independently.

Role Clarification

To provide additional context, the responsibilities within the company were previously structured as follows:

Adrian Stoica
Development of technology infrastructure, including development and operational supervision of the data center.

Paul Farhi
Responsible for fundraising, Web3 ecosystem development and growth, operational management, and overall growth of the platforms, including users, products, and market positioning.

Development Timeline and Adjustments

It is also important to address the development delays that the project has experienced, since the beginning.

In the early stages of the project, the core product suite was expected to be developed by Adrian and his team. Over time, however, it became clear that platform prototypes and deliverables were not progressing at the required pace.

To ensure the project continued moving forward, Paul and the core team began sourcing individuals for the development teams. This involved identifying, evaluating, and onboarding engineers capable of delivering production-ready systems across multiple product layers.

Given the complexity of both the infrastructure and software being developed, this process required time. However, it was a necessary step to ensure that Solidus AI Tech could continue building with the right technical resources and expertise.

Aside from occasional oversight of the data center during construction, Adrian and his team were not directly involved in the development of the core services, infrastructure layers, or product ecosystem that Solidus AI Tech continues to build today. As a result, the company’s ongoing operational development remains unaffected moving forward.

Data Center Clarification

There have been questions from the community regarding the status of the data center, and we would like to clarify the situation.

The facility itself is located on land owned by Optoelectronica. However, all infrastructure built on that land, including the data center building, servers, cabinets, electrical equipment, and supporting hardware, has been fully purchased and funded by Solidus AI Tech.

All related purchases have been documented and recorded through invoices and transaction IDs.

Shortly after the data center became operational, a power-related issue caused damage to one of the H100 servers. Fortunately, the hardware was under warranty and was returned to Supermicro, where it has since been repaired and replaced.

Following the incident, operations at the facility were temporarily suspended while the power provider, ENEL, carried out a comprehensive review of the electrical infrastructure. Safeguarding the remaining hardware was the immediate priority, and pausing operations was necessary to prevent any additional damage to critical infrastructure.

On 17 February, we received official certification confirming that the power infrastructure is now stable. However, servers have not yet been brought back online due to ongoing discussions regarding the potential acquisition of the land on which the facility is located.

H200 Server Delivery Delays

Another matter the community should be aware of is the continued delay in the delivery of the H200 GPU servers.

The servers were ordered in Q1, 2025 with the procurement process being managed by Adrian and his team. The last update received from Adrian, dated 25th January 2026, stated:

"We received the tracking that the goods will reach Romania Otopeni customs in the week of 2–5 February."

Since that time, we have not received further confirmation regarding delivery status and have been continuously following up on this matter.

For an organization operating infrastructure and preparing services for clients, this level of communication delay is not sustainable.

Potential Next Steps

Before proceeding with further discussions regarding the purchase of the land on which the data center is built, two conditions were internally established:

Arrival of the H200 servers (Pending)

Confirmation from ENEL that the power infrastructure is stable (Completed)

Once both conditions have been satisfied, we will move forward with presenting our offer, at a commercially viable price.

Adrian has previously indicated that leasing the land is not an option he wishes to pursue. As such, we will proceed with a direct purchase proposal and move forward based on the outcome of those discussions.

Scenario 1: Land Purchase Offer

If the purchase offer is accepted, Solidus AI Tech will obtain full ownership of the land and everything that sits above it.

At that point, the company will establish a dedicated operations team responsible for managing the data center, maintaining uptime, and overseeing ongoing infrastructure maintenance.

Additionally, the next step will involve securing additional funding to scale the facility’s compute capacity through the procurement, deployment, and integration of additional server infrastructure within the data center.

Scenario 2: Land Purchase Not Completed

If the land acquisition cannot be finalized, Solidus AI Tech will proceed with selling the equipment currently located at the facility. This includes GPU servers, cabinets, electrical infrastructure, transformers, and other related hardware.

The capital recovered from this process will be redirected into the ecosystem, including allocating a portion toward token buybacks.

In this scenario, the Compute Marketplace would continue operating under a Decentralized model, through decentralized compute providers rather than operating a fully owned data center.

This approach significantly reduces operational overheads and allows the project to focus resources on ecosystem growth, user acquisition, and platform expansion.

Final Note

Solidus AI Tech remains fully operational, focused on advancing its strategic objectives, and continuing to build across its core initiatives as the ecosystem evolves.

Additionally, Solidus AI Tech has been developing a major upgrade since the beginning of this year, representing another important step in the continued evolution of the ecosystem. Further details regarding this upgrade will be announced soon.

This announcement is being shared to ensure complete transparency with the community. If you have serious questions regarding the information above, please raise them within the official Telegram group. The team remains active there and will respond accordingly.
